You are absolutely right. Because I click the button that sais 'connection' and the PSP sais it 'can't' connect is completely and utterly my fault. It might actually be because I'm in Canada and due to a poor connection (which is what the PSP sais, connection is not strong enough) I am not able to connect. I see a lot of returns happening in a lot of places.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was a result of the wireless B lameness.

Huh? I am in the absolute ass end of no where in Canada and my PSP Go works fine. you are doing it wrong. Did you set up your internet connection in connection settings? because you need to do that. Also, if you're leeching wireless from someone else, that is also your fault. I can not possibly be more away from the important parts of canada.

Yeah it's probably something like that but it's too bad I guess. I'll save money in the process by replacing it with a 3000 so whatev's, I just want to play GT and I bought into the PSP Go but no biggie.

Yep the connection settings are all in order the network settings are all in order, I'm not an idiot. All I know is that if I made a handheld and had an option where you could connect to the internet then it would just...do it, I mean honestly lol, Sony might not have heard of that before where it just....connects!

Is it really wireless B only, I haven't checked the specs?
And if that's the case maybe your router is set to G only, or you have one of the G/N only routers.

I just don't understand how they feel they can charge nearly $100 more than the 3000 for something that doesn't really have any new hardware. Just a different design. In fact, one could argue it has less hardware, since the UMD is gone.

They release PS3 slim and cut the price but release PSP GO and increase the price ????

Well if you are willing to buy PSP Go this means you are willing to pay full RRP prices for digital copies of games that will be locked to your account.

Which means you have lot of cash to waste so why would Sony not try to rip $100 from you? :)

@ A_C_E

Do you have access to a computer with internet? If so then download and install Media Go and buy the games and transfer them from your PC - > PSP.

PSPGo is a handheld, maybe if you had said DSi then ok, but why compare it to a home console? With that same logic, why buy anything when I can get a PS2? Its the cheapest console out at the moment with the biggest gaming library!

PSPGo has alot of benefits, I agree its a bit overpriced (especially here is Australia....). But its pretty good at what it does. It wasn't really made for the mainstream people. That's for the PSP3000. If you want a PSP and don't have the money, go get a PSP3000. If you want the benefits of the Go, and have the extra cash, get the PSPGo.

Too much hate going around. More loving please ^^

What benefits?

The J man is honestly not trying to be condesending but everytime he thinks about the pspgo , there is nothing remotely close to a "benefit" that can be associated with the go.

Can someone please answer this so we can end this.......

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!
