Forums - General - Do You Cry Often?

Yes, of course... but rarely in the last 2 years or so. Before that there was quite a lot of bad stuff happening in my life, and I cried maybe a few times a month.

Crying is a good way to release stress and nervousness. It's just an inevitable part of life.

Never. Unless someone dies, like a pet or a relative.

tedster You're a 'manly man'? I thought you were gay? (yes, you can be manly anyway, jus asking)

Twas a joke, good sir.

What? You being gay or you being a manly man?

Haha, obviously a bad joke . Me being a manly man. Like when people say something then try to cover their butts, ya know?

Oh. I understand now!

I think crying at fiction is silly. I couldn't cry at a movie or anything like that.

Have you seen Million Dollar Baby?

I swear I can't make it through that movie without getting absolutely depressed.

I find feeling emotion over a movie you previously seen to be very silly.

I don't cry. If it stems from negative emotions it's bad for you and stresses the body. Tears of joy from profound philosophical or introspective epiphany is the only time when I tear up at all. But tears of joy aren't bad for your body besides loosing salt and water.

I think you've got that backwards... is there any evidence at all that crying is stressful? In my experience it's very much the opposite.

Last time I cried was when I got my most recent tattoo... on my neck ;_;

That was last year.

Fixed. Everyone is different.

I cried once in the past 5 years, and I'd say it was justified. I'm a manly man, you know.

Does sadness acompany your no reason crying or is it just a physical reaction?

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy

Probably stress and sadness, I guess.

It tends to pick up a lot when school starts back up.

Last cried when I found out that a relatives cancer was inoperable.

Don't cry too often, not that I try not to I just don't often really feel the need. My life ain't bad enough for much crying.

I was done crying years ago when my Dad died.

My GFs mom died last week, I did tear up, but I didn't bawl out crying.

I'm really not as emotional anymore as before. Probably because of sex. Go have some sex or something, that should rid you of emotional stress.
