Forums - Gaming - So where is the Super Street Fighter IV petition?

Every street fighter has had multiple iterations except the original, true fans of fighters know this and will purchase it day one. The only ones who are likely to complain are those who are not very good at fighting games or play like once every year. I for one will be buying SSFIV on day one, no petition needed.

I should have explained myself better, I'll only buy games I'm 100% hyped about at day 1.

It's not only SSFIV I'm referring to, it seems most games are doing it now, rereleasing a game with extras some time later. I only bought SFIV because I needed a fighter to tide me over till tekken 6 (ironically I've gone off that a bit) but seeing that it later got extras, I shouldn't have bought it in the first day it came out.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

@OP
You don't seem familiar with the SF release system yet do you?
SF2 was the most re-released ever. How many releases did have 12? I really don't think many SF fans are going to care if the old SF2 releasing style comes back,

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

There were 5, including the original:

Street Fighter II-The World Warriors
Street Fighter II-Championship Edition
Street Fighter II-Hyper Fighting
Super Street Fighter II-The New Challengers
Super Street Fighter II Turbo

i'm glad capcom cares what the community wants, more characters, more stages, more online modes, more balancing.

Wait a minute, whatever happened to the re-releases after that. I remember seeing them at gamestop used, and I specifically remember seeing HD Turbo Remix Alpha on the XBL marketplace, and one on the PSN-store if I'm not mistaken...

no the problem is THIS IS CAPCOM!!! they are know to make really great games then whore them out as much as possible..SF2, MvsC2,RE4, and MH are great examples..we CAPCOM fans expect this

Those five games have been re-released multiple times over, but it's still just those five games. The two SF games on the marketplace are Hyper Fighting, and an HD version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo.

You don't seem familiar with satire do you?

I do admit though, this was about as week as an attempt at it as I could make though.  -_-

Anyways, yes, I know that each numbered Street Fighter has been more overused than Mario I was just merely makign the comparison of one game with "minor" improvements and a new full release in a short time and another game that received "minor" improvements and a new full release in a short time that could easily be seen as DLC.

You are missing Street FIghter II Turbo (no 'Super')

Turbo and Hyper Fighting are the same game. Just place a turbo after the II in the title.
