Forums - Sony - Sony can't guarantee all future PSP games as digital downloads (PSPGo)

As for new games, four titles released this week--Beaterator, MotorStorm Arctic Edge, PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe, and the long-awaited Gran Turismo--will be available to download on the PSP Go. As for future games, SCEA hardware marketing director John Koller told GameSpot that after October 1, his company will try to make as many new UMD releases available on the PlayStation Store.

"We can't say 'all' because there are legal restrictions in converting some titles to digital, but on the whole, we expect a substantial amount," explained Koller. "I think what consumers can expect is to go onto the PSP store and see a large amount of previously released UMD content and see day-and-date releases of new games."

I guess i am going to keep my psp 2000 then I was never goingto sell it anyway

The wonders of emulation.

I am still getting the go. They better not fuck it up

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

This is exactly why i think PSP 3000 and below are far more worth it then Go, atleast then your sure you'd get the games you want, Such as Dissidia, VC2, Broken Destiny, Tekken 6 Portable, all those wonderful and most of the time exclusive JRPG's.

Im starting to wonder if Sony created Go to make the Thousand models look alot better, right now theres an original PSP phat available on Amazon for about $52 + S&H, thats a far better and safer deal.

In conclusion, this is not good news for people who actually intend on getting the Go styled PSP.

I'm sticking with my PSP 1000 :)
