Wait, so you're telling me that I don't like the GC controller more than the dual shock 3? That's a tad presumptuous. Or are you trying to say that it is objectively worse? Because that too is presumptuous. If of course you are merely saying that your preferences disagree with mine, then cool.

Anyway, the GC controller is so much more comfortable for my hands, which are much too large to use the dual shock comfortably. The button layout is much better for me and that's why I rated it over the dual shock, despite the dual shock having gyros and a couple of extra things.

As for the wiimote with WM+ vs pseye, this is a fairly easy one imo.

Motion control seems to be a tie - 1:1 with negligable lag for both
Cost is hella in the Wiimote's favour - you don't need to buy the eye, and wiimotes and wiimotion pluses come bundled with the console, Wii play, WSR, and many other games
For button layout the wiimote seems better to me - it has a d pad for one, and is set out much better for use on its side
Sound quality - wiimote hella wins this because the PSwand lacks a speaker
Storage capacity - wiimote hella wins this because the PSwand lacks storage capacity
comfort - who knows, none of us have held a PSwand.

What're your reasonings for prefering the wand?

Maybe nobody answers your questions because nobody knows the answer ? I cant remember if they said something about this issue. Havent they said they want to integrate the camera in the Xbox or something like that ?

I guess if they need your feed or legs to track so there should be some space. To catch your whole body the camera needs some distance. But Japan is not the main market and in Europe or America the poepl should have enough more than enough space except you are living in a small flat as student. Or some teenager which lives under moms rooftop.

I can imagine that this Camera needs a lot of Processing Power, especially if it have to track the movement of more people. Maybe it will have an effect on the Graphics ? Sony wants to integrate it someway in the OS so it is enough if the SPU which is just for the OS take care over it.

What I understand from devs such as Kojima, Natal is in a league of it's own for control. He is quoted as saying games that are only possible on Natal. Something which all Japanese devs have taken hold of. So I guess it's what you like. new tech or existing tech.

Listen what Japans finest developers have to say.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I think it's too early to tell at this point.

I can say my personal preferences would put Natal at end of list, simply because I feel physical feedback is critical, but of course I might prove to be in the minority.

One thing's for sure, we're going to see a lot more motion control games on the back of this, plus the real possibility of multiplatform MC titles hitting Wii, PS3 and 360 at the same time. Crazy stuff.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

...are you serious?

The Gamecube controller has and will always be the best controller. Waaaay more comfortable than the dualshock. xP

And WiiMotion+ is here. We know it works.

We don't know ANYTHING about PSwand. And it looks like you need a PSEye too. How much will this cost again?

To dissect the points 1 by 1.

GC controller vs. DS3: Your preference.  The GC controller has arguably less functionality (PS3 has 1 extra button + wireless + tilt control vs. the GC click on the shoulder buttons).  So technically, you could not design a game that could be played with the GC controller that is impossible to play on DS3.  The inverse is also true.

Wiimotion plus vs. PS wand.  This is an annoyance for both systems, as you need two peripherals in each case. (Wiimote + motion plus, eye toy + wand).  From what we are seeing, they have similar capabilities, although the wand does not have a D pad.  From the point of view of exclusive content, however, I don't see any Wiimote only games that could not possibly be handled by the Wand due to the additional buttons.

Wiimotion and nunchuck definitely has functionality that the wand would have trouble matching.  I allowed for this in my initial argument.  Please keep in mind that for a second player however, this is 3 peripherals to purchase (Wiimote +nunchuck + Wiimotion plus) vs. 1 PS wand (since you would already have the eye toy for the 1st player).  To add further speculation, the wand will likely have a USB port similar to the DS3 to allow for charging, which would presumably open the door for added peripherals (although I hope not, this is what I hate most about Wii, too many controllers to buy).

The eye toy is too me the biggest advantage for Sony.  It will allow for controller free play, or in combination with the wand, is one step ahead of the Wii and Wii motion plus since you can scan yourself into the game.  Ubisoft's camera is up until now a 3rd party peripheral, of which there is no precedent in gaming history of widespread support.  The guitar hero guitar (most successful 3rd party controller ever) may work in Rock band, but that is about it.
