I made a restarter account a while back in Halo 3 (I have 80 games played now), and have been playing team slayer mostly.  But its taking forever to rank up.  Today I played about 40 games of team slayer, and only lost 4, and yet wit about 36 games won I only went up from a 7 ranks (from a 13-20)

So whats the deal?  Why can others rank up just like that but it takes me at least 5 wins on a low level to rank up one??

I had the exact same problem yesterday. i won 15 games of team slayer and went up 1 level. so apparently somethings up with the server. im gonna try again in a few days

Oh and btw i am interested in joining NFA. I looked at the website but cant seem to find how to join. Do i need to try out or what?

^^ But the weird thing was i played 4 games of team dubs, won 3 and lost 1 and went up from a 1 to a 10, but then again i was playing against 25's or higher.   But I hope they fix the problem so I can get a decent rank in Halo 

It happens all the time for me. I can go on long winning streaks and rank up like one or two levels, and it's really annoying when you get to a new level, lose, and it drops you and you have to win like three in a row to get it back.

I'll be honest the clan fell through and its non-existent now.  I just haven't gotten around to removing the link from my sig.
