Another developer talking up his game? Is that what you guys are saying?

Have you seen a list of the games this man has been associated with? The guy has some clout in my book and he no longer works at Bungie. He is a ***former*** employee. There is a lot to be said about that. Most people leaving their jobs for "greener" pastures talk a little shit more times than not.

No, major sales is a given....   Will probably do 3 million in reserved sales.

Halo Reach is Bungies last Halo. They will leave us with something to remember, just in case Microsoft decides to destroy the series. :)

Do you seriously think Bungie is done with the Halo-verse?  I wouldn't count on it.

I think they are finished making games in the Halo-verse. Halo was their baby though, so if someone else works on Halo, they will most likely send their lead designers to work with companies to make sure the integrity of the product isn't majorly tarnished.

As much as I ***WANT*** Bungie to try something new, I just don't see it happening. They have had the opportunity before to move along and yet didn't. There is waaaaay to much money to be made by them to totally give up on Halo. And to be honest, they would be foolish to completely step aside. Esp.l.. considering Microsoft wants them to continue.

What I see happening is this:

Bungie will split up some of their work and probably make a few smaller games but continue with their main efforts on another Halo game. If the smaller games are a success then we may see them move away from the Halo verse to some degree.

Halo is Bungie's baby, while the baby may grow up and do other things. Bungie will always continue to love and nurture it.

Bungie will always be known for Halo. The company will never have another IP that will be as beloved, well known, or have the sales that Halo has had.

When Halo Reach drops...it's going to be HUGE...Bungie is probably "smarting" from all the slams against the Halo 3 engine, so I'm sure they are going to bring their AAA game to this party. I can see this having big teams going at it...not a MMO...but certianly bigger than before.
