Obviously theres no gay gene. Its how your brought up, not your DNA. If theres lots of hot women at your school you'll turn out straight. If you go to an all male bording school you'll probably become gay.

I really hope this is a joke post. And if it is then it is a bad one

I was homeschooled. Does that mean I am A-sexual?

Well OBVIOUSLY. Your logic has no flaws whatsoever. I guess we should listen to YOU instead of the scientist in the OP. You're so cunning and intuitive.

Eh, I don't buy into the "gay gene".

Homosexuality has too many trends that seem to be non-gene based.

For example... children born later are more likely to be gay then first born sons.

The "best" theory in my opinion and the one that seems to hold the most scientific merit is that people tend to become "Gay"( or rather more gay since it isn't so black and white) in the mothers womb.

I agree. I think the whole gay gene is BS.

That's a great article. I completely agree with it and believe those are the main mechanics behind true homosexuality (while some bi-sexual behaviour we see in our society today could also be influenced by social factors).

A homosexual act is still a sin in God's eyes.

So god made people fall in love with people of their own sex and then made it an offense to have sex with somebody of your own sex?

Man, God has a fucked up sense of humour.

When God created mankind he chose not to interfere with mankind's free-will, he will let you do what you want. However, some people choose to love a member of the same sex with their free will, but some say that god put you here to procreate. That's where this whole situation gets really messy.

Read his post, he's saying that you don't choose to be homosexual. But God will smite you for it anyway, even though he made you like that.

Not necessarily. There's a difference between wanting to do something and actually doing it.

From a Christian perspective it's obvious that people are born with different traits and conditions that affect their struggle of not commiting sins in this life. This planet, the creation, is full of imperfection (cause of Adam's original sin). A person may be born with a craving for drugs, an aggressive personality, or a craving for children, or wanting to have sex with lots of women, or other men etc. Everyone has their battle in this life, and their struggle to walk on the right path. God will judge everyone according to their premises, justly.

Which is why it's best to NOT be a Christian. But then you get to miss out on the superiority complex, it's a trade-off really.

God doesn't exist. There, problem solved.
