Forums - Nintendo - Wii price cut - in EU too?

U.K. got a price cut back to £179? As retailers still had it at 179 even though RRP was 199 then i expect retailers to be offering the new bundle with WSR etc for 159. Win win in my opinion.

Nope it didn't get price cut in UK.
It's just retailers are taking the hit in their profit margin.

Wait, there's a price cut in EU! At leat in Italy we have it, and other many countries...in a e-mail sent to a reatiler and published on another forum Nintendo said that now it's not in all countries, but will gradually be expanded to all europe.

Correct. 50 Euros is being cut off the price in Europe (so it's 199,90 euros)...while the UK is getting Wii Sports Resort bundled and the price to retail is dropping back down.

Nintendo did increase the trade price in the UK earlier in the year..but that has now been returned back to the previous level (so retailers no longer take the hit) as well as Wii Sports Resort being included in the price.
