Forums - Sony - I had 4 player Littlebigplanet for the first time today.

I've not seen better reactions from people before about a game. I mentioned I had something like this before, and today I took the experiment a step further. The players were my 11 year old niece, model sister in law, sports geek brother, and 15 year old FPS geek nephew. The reason I'm talking about their backgrounds is that as you can see, they are all coming from different gaming preferences.

But they all loved it. They played it for a full 7 hours straight, up to a point that the TV started flickering due to the PS3 overheating. Even tiny little things like changing costumes, slapping a sackperson, falling into fire, or placing stickers would send them into huge fits of laughter. It was surprising for me that the guys liked it so much as well. My brother only plays NBA Live and FIFA games, while my nephew only plays Halo and COD4. At first, they were like "I'm not playing that kid stuff". After 5 minutes, though, they were hooked. My brother even bought the game from me (and I'm going to buy the GOTY Edition).

Anyway just sharing. It was great. Watching 4 people playing the game is really hilarious. I really think that if Sony had done more to educate people about what this game is about, it would get more sales.

Nothing can beat LittleBigPlanet when it comes to playing with friends.
Last time my friends and I played it we laughed for 3 hours straight.

Anyway, it's good to see your family likes the game, it is awesome.

Did you actually get anywhere, or were you just too busy slapping the others off cliffs

Playing this game with three or more people, I've never seen such laughter. Including myself. This game will be a contender for game of the GEN if you ask me.

They actually finished the majority of the levels they played. I introduced them to the story mode first, but spent more time on the online levels, especially the ones from geosautus. That guy's a genius.

One day you need to show us pictures of your Model sister in law.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 > Modern Warfare 2

Honestly, if you sit and play LBP and don't at least smile you are either horribly miserable bugger or refusing to accept it's charms due to strange delusions of 'coolness'.

LBP = pure fun and expression of creativity.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

the best part was that they started making their own level. it was hilarious :D my brother got inspired by the mad mansion level.

Played it yesterday with some friends, we are all in early 20s and college students. We had quite a lot of fun for like 1-1,5 h then switched to something else. I still kind of dislike the control b/c they are irresponsible and stiff, but i'm totaly gonna get the game for like 15€ in the future.

Love littlebigplanet, its so amazing and so original
