 There were parts of the demo where the framerate dropped noticibly. In one part, I'd say it dipped just below 30.

Personally, I couldn't stand the parts sliding on the rails - stupid, boring and repetitious. Hopefully thats just the demo and the final game has those stages rarely, or it really mixes things up.

 Actually from memory I said that it didnt sound too good but we should wait till IGN reviews it for Warhawk as well =P

Also its funny how the Sony fans said that PSM had no credibility and that they were run by an Xbot when there were a couple of bad reviews but now they give a good review suddenly they are gospel.

You can cherry pick the reviews of any site to make it look (un) biased ...

Most sites will have a handful of games where they scored 30% or more below the average, or up to 30% higher than the average (although that much higher is rare for everyone except for Play UK).

Thanks for reminding me about those sites... looks like PSM3 gave it a 93%, not bad, 2 reviews and both above 90%. Hope it keeps that way.


Honestly, it probably won't ...

You usually see the top reviews first and as time goes on the scores generally get lower; this isn't to say that it will have a bad overall score, you'll just probably see quite a few 8's and some 7's.


 I thouth of you as a hater, but 7s for R&C now your just a crazy fanboy in my eyes.

Mars, when you grow up and start realizing how things work you will start to see things in a very different light ...

Amazing games like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, and Halo 3 still end up with quite a few scores in the 7s and 8s.

Seriously, GROW UP!

This mag is pretty hit and miss with reviews.

They can very harsh. (Warhawk - 6.5, Brave Story: New Traveler - 7)

But also can be pretty lenient. (Brooktown High - 8, Final Fantasy 2 - 8.5)

Wait for the "big three" sites to review it. That being IGN, Gamespot, and 1up.

I am afraid your the only fanboy here. Lets go pick some evidence of games being rated low.

Firstly Mario Sunshine, a game more highly ranked than any R&C game. Lowest score - 5. (Gameshark)

The highest ranked R&C game (up your arsenal) - two sevens (TVG and GamesTM)

Hey lets go for another game that has ranked higher than any R&C game (by a significant margin) the Wind Waker! - lowest scores are two sevens.

Those are just games I randomly selected from GR, the first three I picked.

 

Edit: @Outlawauron, 1UP? bleh I wouldnt count those guys, but maybe thats just me.

If Gamespot gives R&C higher than a 9.5 I'm calling bias.

I mean, they give metroid prime 3 an 8.5 because it is a sequel that doesn't do much different, and if they give R&C a 10 when it does do this, I'm calling anti-wii bias.

Ugh, people will never stop calling any site bias. Who is bias against one console always changes. The entire site isn't biased is one reviewer gives a game a higher score than a different reviewer giving a score for another game. On a different console.

If they give Smackdown vs Raw a 9 then they have no credibility. That game has gone downhill since Smackdown:HCTP. I know I havent played this years version but I really dont see them turinign this 6 franchise into a 9 game.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
