Forums - Gaming - Anyone else finding TGS a bit disappointing? What were you expecting?

I'm finding it pretty disappointing.  No major announcements for me except WKC2 and that's hard to get excited over because the first one hasn't even released in the US yet.

I was hoping for some more JRPG announcements, but it seems the Japanese developers are convinced that they need to appeal to "Western" audiences instead of their own market.  Waste of time, the US still won't buy the games (like Nier)....all they'd have to do is make a good classic JRPG sequel of a major franchise like KH3 and they'd make a profit from Japan alone.

I was really hoping for a new Persona, .hack, Legend of Dragoon type game.  Oh well....

And where is Mistwalker???  I know they're not working on LO2, but I'd love to have it.

Bingo...I'm with you there.  Hopefully really soon or we'll be into the next generation before we get any games since RPGs take awhile to develop.

Squenix has always been my favorite, but they need to get their shit together, seriously.
