if you want ot RUSH through the game at this pace, skipping cutscenes which arw a part of the MEtal Gear Experience.....your welcome, but simply taking off points from a game by completing it so quickly is silly......you couldn't possibly get the full experience.

All you have shown is by "using the quickest method" the game can be finished in 2 hours 30 min

however that is extremely misleading to future buyers of the game, extremely misleading.

All you have done since MGS4 released is nit pick it & hate it for the most ridiculous reasons, most people agree with me on this.

The fact is to GET the FULL EXPERIENCE from MGS4.....you cannot finish it in 2 hours 30 min.

To enjoy MGS4's gameplay to the MAX.....you cannot finish it in 2 hours 30 min

I don't know how you finished the gameplay bit in 2 hours alone......but I can say this much, you sure as hell wern't enjoying those bits like most of us have.

Besides how did you turn my argument upside down when you STILL havn't given me "all the reasons" for the game being a 7.0

^^ Oh stop it.  This isn't the thread for this.  I will be counting Kyle Dogs score because I know he doesn't hate PS3, and he's allowed to think a game isn't as good as the rest of you do.

As for Mirison, I will look through some of his post history and if he is a PS3 hater than I won't count his vote.

EDIT- Ok I browsed through some his post history, and he's not a fanboy by any means, he doesn't think this is a very good MGS at all, and he's entitled to believe that (although 6/10 is pretty freakin low imo) and he obviously owns a PS3

Well my first playthrough of MGS4 took me 35 hours. My second playthrough took me 18 hours and that was skipping the boring cutscenes. My fastest playthrough was 7 hours and that was skipping all the cutscenes. I'm really amazed at some peoples ratings of this game. @Kyliedog. Have you yourself finished this game in 2 hours or are you basing this off a screenshot from a japanese gamer who probably knows all the ins and outs of the game because hes finished the game so many times.

I can see if he himself beat it in 2 hours, but so what if someone else did. That is no reason to give it a low score. In my opinion that shouldn't be counted that just doesn't make sense.

Ya know whats real funny I've finished loads of games in less than 2 hours over the years. The most recent 1 being RE5 but I'd never dream of taking points off a game because of it unless I finished it in 2 hours on my first playthrough of the game. Knowbody in the whole world finished MGS4 in less than 6 hours on there first playthrough. If they did then they must of been mindless zombies. Also taking points off a game for Lag? I can honestly say I never played 1 single online game where I havn't experianced lag. Even on games with dedicated servers I've experianced lag. It's not really something you can take a point away for because theres many reasons for experiancing lag?

well as long as you had more problems with the game than that, I have no problem with your score, people like different things.

Totally false! People's opinions can and do run outside the mainstream. I can name at least 4 games that have a Metacritic rating above 90 I would rate below 5/10. Get a clue!
