I'm not crazy about Lloyd's realistic look, but obviously it has to be that way to make him fit in. Smart move, sales-wise: hit up a group that isn't necessarilly interested in traditional fighting games.
I really want this game to be good, but I'm skeptical.
I...don't like the way he looks in SCL, but I can't wait to try him.

Ok, I have to say that I don't like the way Lloyd looks like in that game. But maybe here's a reason for the difference: Remember Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk happens 3 years after Tales of Symphonia? Maybe that Lloyd is meant to resemble the ToS:KoR LLoyd.
Anyway, it doesn't matter to me, I'm not going to buy this game.
hmm... my odds of buying it have jumped from 5% to 20%...
