Cool. Now I just need to play KOTOR and KOTOR 2.

I've always wanted to, could never find them, found KOTOR, wouldn't work on vista... etc.

Maybe i'll find a way to finagle enough money out of the budget to buy KOTOR 1 and hope for 2 to come out. (Yep money is that tight)

Hold on, there's a thread about this on the Team Gizka forums...

TA-DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Though I guess that wouldn't be a problem on Steam, if you still have your hard copy of KotOR I then this will do fine, and I bet you can find KotOR II for cheap!

I was right! Less than twenty bucks, if you can spare it!

Here's for if you're not satisfied with buy non-new, and still pretty cheap!

God, I hope I'm being helpful.

Sadly i left my hard copy of KOTOR a few states away.  I'll keep an eye on KOTOR2 though.

Ended up the Steam KOTOR today.  Hey maybe the developers will get a little extra cash out of it...

I oddly find I perfer Steam to hard copies of games too.

Steam just seems so much more convienent.

It's true, it very much is more convenient, if only because compatibility is promised not to be an issue.

That and never needing a CD to run stuff + I oddly find the digitial download more convient then a physical copy.

That's a pretty fair idea. My CD drive is acting wonky, so I ripped an image file off of it and use that to get theg ame running. Much safer for my precious, precious hard copy.

I really need a new computer.

I gotta say i'm shocked at the quality of the voice acting of the original too.  I even noticed one of my favorite voice actors playing one of the minor roles.

Can't say too much about the writing of the original yet but that's due to not getting to far yet due to my girlfriend and playing some Pazak... which is fun, but i swear feels rigged sometimes.  I mean it's bad enough you always have to go first... but when they keep getting perfect 20's without playing a card...!

The beggining is written well... but held back by the need of copius explination... and it's the first game where i've ended up breaking into peoples houses and then actually ended up GIVING them money.

Well i guess second next to the original Legend of Zelda.

Funny, I notice this after completing KoToR 1 again (yesterday) after buying it on Steam. Guess I'll be playing the sequel again as well!

So whats this then? I have never heard of it

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

The original KotOR is great and the writing is solid, but there are some definite quirks to the game system and the writing tries very much to capture the George Lucas magic, which makes it a bit silly.

KotOR2 actually pokes fun at how the computer always seems to cheat at pazaak, come to think....

Yeah, even George Lucas seems like he can't pull that off anymore.
