I would imagine that being Dark Side, but letting the Masters live, would change something: Kreia would be more approving of you emulating her, if nothing else. I have a feeling that's not actually the case though.

Doesn't she approve of you anyway when you let the Masters live?

Yes, but if you're light side you've presumably been a goody-two shoes the whole time, rather than a manipulative bastard like you're *supposed* to be.

Well yeah, granted, but she's proud of you anyway.

Once I meet the masters, though, all bets are off. No more mercy for anyone. I am going to cut a bloody swathe through the entire universe, all the way to the heart of Malachor.

("Malachor" is pretty much the best name for a tragic planet)

Not even poor Bao-Dur, with his slavish devotion, ambiguous fate, and dangling plotlines?

All right, all right, Bao-Dur gets to live.

Probably.

I mean, he leaves for the droid factory with HK, right? If I follow them, what am I going to do, slaughter everything more than HK-47? That would be ridiculous, sir.

Actually, it's not at all clear what happens to him. He disappears at the same time, and then is never seen or heard from again. He does make that recording for his droid, so presumably he linked back up with the crew, but when exactly is unknown, and he's the only Jedi who isn't part of the confrontation with Traya. Even when you ask Kreia, note that she never really gives an answer about him...

We need a KotOR3.

What, you're not super-psyched at the prospect of paying a monthly fee for the privilege of playing a disorganized, chaotic MMO with hundreds of strangers? What is wrong with you?!

And while I'm at it, I want this single-player, non-MMO to be written by Chris Avellone. BioWare doesn't have to lift one pretty finger as far as I'm concerned.

I'd build a new gaming PC for that bad boy.

Blasphemer!

In all seriousness, I hope Obsidian gets another crack at Star Wars. It doesn't even have to be KOTOR. I just really like how their version is so much more fleshed out than every other Star Wars game. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the "Good vs. Evil" campiness that every other Star Wars title is about, but it was so refreshing to see someone take the material and dive headfirst into the shades of grey.

Mostly though I'm just happy that someone finally pointed out that the Jedi Order is, in fact, run by hypocritical pricks.
