OP - This generation can't get any more closure than it already has:

1 - Wii.
2 - 360.
3 - PS3.

Take a hard look at that list. It isn't going to change.

I don't think that anyone questions '1'. But '2' and '3' are a different story.

Also as an aside - with regards to remaining lifespan (and so remaining years of sales) Xbox and PS3 ARE looking better than the Wii. How long will it take for Nintendo to go the HD road? Sony and Microsoft are already there and upping to motion controls looks much easier on paper and not requiring a major hardware shake.

Never seen a post like that. You're going to make a lot of enemies saying things like that! I'm also a 'busting chops' kinda guy but at least I give good arguments.
