Hay, maybe he did tons of research but didn't feel the need to post evidence
But srsly, it would take a miracle for the PS3 to reach its target before the Wii reaches its own.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!
peachbuggy said: Oh i see. So theoretically you could be stating it at 2 weeks soon even though it may actually be realistically 6. Think i get it. |
It will be a two week time gap after tomorrow's update because PS3 would have had to sell 64,008 units this week to keep up with Wii's total from last week. But that's not going to happen.
I think your confusion lies in the interpretation of the stat. It's not saying how many weeks it will take for the PS3 to reach the Wii's current total, but rather the other way around: how long ago the Wii reached the PS3's current total. The other stat would undoubtedly be more useful, but I don't have a crystal ball (or the time to map trajectories) so none of the data I'm providing is of a predictive nature.
Congratulations, in advance, to those who kept faith with the Wii. I really didn't see the price cut and NSMB doing the job, but it certainly did, and then some.

I always thought the Wii would handle it without trouble, though it definitely ended up much closer than I thought. The Wii only picked up with NSMB, and PS3 held up better outside the holidays. Good stuff.
