He's probably waiting to see if ioi will make any corrections.

he should update now, and then if ioi makes corrections then edit, not updating his table just makes him look biased, since he doesn't know if ioi is going to make any changes
Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!! It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!! Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)
well he updated it. I don't see how that would make him look biased though. VGchartz numbers are a bit off from the other three so it's normal that one would think a mistake was made.
No, because none of the trackers cover 100% of the Japanese market, so assuming a mistake was made, when all are estimating to a degree is an assumption.
ioi will decide whether to alter or stick based on what data he has

assuming a mistake was made is an assumption? Thanks for clearing that one up. I didn't know assuming things were assumptions. Anyway there are 4 data tracking companies so if one is way off it may mean they made a mistake. That is a normal assumption rather than a biased one. I'm not even sure what that's biased for or against.
It may mean is the key phrase, that's the point, you don't know, he doesn't know, even ioi won't 100% know, so there is no point in trying to second guess him, if he decides it needs to be changed, he'll do it, until then just accept them.

dude, what's your point? Do you just run around the site trying to annoy everyone? Is it really that bad to wait and see if he might change it so that's less work for the guy doing the updates? I don't see the big deal in updating now or waiting to hear from ioi. It's not like either console is closing in on the said milestones. We don't need the updates to be instant and if they aren't that doesn't make some biased.
My point is that if you're going to create a table that tracks the progress of the predictions and then don't update it because the numbers don't match what you want them to be is bias, and if you do take on the work, then you don't have a reason to complain about more work, as you took it upon yourself to do it, so yeah it is bad to wait around, just because the numbers don't fit what you want, either update when the numbers come out, whether you agree with them, or don't take it upon yourself to keep track in the first place. They weren't anywhere near the milestones when he started, but he did start it, and unless he says he's giving it up, he should update when the data is available.

@ Avinash )
hah, now you are calling him biased .. don't you want him to post the numbers, because right now they fit your own bias? lol
you are so hilariously aggressive today telling Edouble to leave the site before and now this
I want to see you telling ioi the same thing, when he holds up posting numbers because they don't seem to fit the picture ;).

That's certainly what it seems like to me. He's a bit too ridiculous to reason with though, I haven't been using the forums much but I'm starting to think he's a joke account. This entire thread he's been acting completely out of his mind.
