PS3beats360 do you even have ODST? Have a 360? How would you know that ODST should be $20? The campaign is minimum 7-8 hour campaign if you rush through it. 10+ hours if you want to explore the city and find everything.  Granted you need to play on a harder level than normal but you should anyways. Second of all It has firefight and third of all comes with a second disk with every map ever released for halo 3. $60 gets you great campaign, extra firefight mode, and halo 3 multiplayer. In my opinion this game was better than halo 3.

I havnt played it yet. But if it is worse then Halo 3. (an ok) in my opinion. Then i dont think i will like it.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Non 360 owners still clinging to the "it's an expansion because we heard that but are deliberately ignoring the rest of the quote due to our need to cherrypick from quotes to rag on the game so we feel better about ourselves."

Anyway i love the game so far but the one thing I hate is Sadie. If that stroppy bossy cow spoke to me like that... well, it's the end of the world and nobody cares what happens to one lost soul.

So i just bought halo ODST tonight several hours ago and from the reviews was expecting a really good game! But sadly this is not the case. ive been waiting for this game since it was announced and i honestly cant even force myself to finish playing the second chapter the campaign is just so boring. The firefight isnt nearly as fun as the reviews and other people let on. Honestly the only good thing is the Multiplayer that thankfully was RECYCLED from halo 3. All in all im quite disappointed with this purchase. I paid $60 for a bunch of crap and 3 new Multiplayer maps.

Thanks alot Bungie.

Sorry to hear that.

I am a sp man myself and have to say I am finding the campaign excellent.

I forgot to save and quit twice and each time I went back through city I found myself going to different places with different results each time.

Some of the fights have been brilliant so far and I have only completed 3 flashbacks.

I would highly recomend this game to any fps fan.

I say that as a gamer and not a xbot.

I jsut go back, and got into Halo ODST, and I LOVE it! The story telling is tight, and the action is nice as well...I'm not sure what there is to complian about, if you like Halo...for all the ps3 fans who have been ragging on Halo for years...yup, you're right, it's crappy just like Halo 3...lol. btw sales does equate to quality...Wii Sports is a great game, and I'm not sure wtf anybody trying to rag on that game is talking about....nvm the fact that it is bundled.

Ok. Something I noticed. I finished Halo 3 ODST today. Now I am good at Halo games. I have no problem saying that either. My first playthrough was on Heroic and Legendary. Long Story......

Anyways. On ODST playing through on Heroic I have an exact length it took me. I didnt really explore the hub on this playthrough. just simply tried to play through it for the story. As many will know Halo 3 already automatically saves every replay of every time you play, and gives you a time. Let me say this. It is IMPOSSIBLE to complete this game in less than 7 hours on Heroic. Some wiz kid at videogames may do it in 7 hours. Which is why I put 7.

Now I added up all my time from the replay screen. Guess how long it took. Bear in mind I diidnt go slow, and didn't die THAT much. Although deaths did occur on certain hard parts.

9 hours and 15 mins and 43 secs.

On easy if you ran from start to finish I can see around 5- 6 hours. But that would seriously be RUNNING through the game.

ODST is easily as long Halo 3 or KZ2 and nearly as long as Half Life 2 ( about 2 hours shorter. I finished Half life 2 in roughly 11 hours.

So this expansion pack 4 hour game rubbish has to stop. All saying that would get owned on Heroic or Legendary. LOL.

@OP. I'm sorry you didnt enjoy it. I consider myself a MASSIVE Halo fan, Ive read all the books to, and will be buying the Animes. To be honest ODST reminded me why Halo is the best FPS and is the most fun Ive had since Halo 3. Also the SP for me was the best yet. :)

^ but those that haven't played the game clearly know better than you.

The otherthing that worries me is how reviewers review games? Do they play on easy, run from start to finish as fast as possible and use that playthrough for a review????

For instance I know 2 players that owned IGN team members easily on Halo 3 6 months ago. So he is better than IGN guys. It took him about 9 hours on Legendary also.

Makes me think reviewers RUN through on easy for all games. How can they possibly write a review for any game that way?

I've long thought that reviewers have such a short time to play the game then do the write up and move on to the next game that maybe they do speed run it, or use cheats to skip levels and get to the end, anything to see as much of the game as possible while they can.

It might be the only way to do the review in time.

I've just started playing, and the game rocks...am nowhere near ur level of Halo love, but I DO think the background story of Halo is amazing.
