You are all mad.... the campaign is the best since Halo CE... no question

It builds, getting better and better. And god knows where people get 5 or 6 hours from? On herioc (singleplayer) and its taking longer than that. Mind you I'm in no rush... taking it all in.

Love it.

Yeah the Campaign is brilliant. (better than Halo3) It's nice to experience the Human side of everything. Halo 2 didn't dive into this to much like the beta builds/trailers shown.

Suprisingly I found Halo 3 to be harder on solo legendary. (Damn Tsavo Highway)

I solo'd the last half of ODST on Legendary last night within 3 hours. (This is knowing where to go, what combat techniques to use and skipping the Rookie sections of the game)

The only thing that pissed me off is that I have to play the whole campaign over again while I already beat the level where you blow up the building.

I got disconnected from xbox live while I was playing, so I connected again and then it just stopped the game and I find myself in the game lobby.
Ok, I thought, nothing to worry about and clicked resume campaign. After the load screen I find myself in the first level again because that's the only level where I really saved because I played the rest of the game in one sitting.

I think you can imagine I was pretty annoyed about that.

Err, Campaign > Mission > Replay Mission > NMPD HQ.

Haha me a SONY fan??? that just made my day! haha

IMO, this is honestly the best Halo I've ever played, MUCH more fun than Halo 3 was. The mood is awesome, the atmosphere is gloomy (just what I like in shooters which is why I like F.E.A.R. and Killzone 2 so much), the soundtrack is phenomenal and all in all, my $60 purchase of this Halo was the best purchase of a Halo I've ever made!

My excitement for Reach grew with this purchase! Sorry that others aren't enjoying it though....

It's not the best for me, but it beats Halo 3 by a country mile IMO.  Not even tried firefight yet either!

Oh yeah Heroic took me more than 6 hours.

@Slimebeast look at his Avatar!

What is it? Gears of war?

Yup.  1337 Gamer I've always found 360 orientated but rarely biased or given to Trollish behaviour, so I feel sure he's just given his honest views of how the title felt for him.

I'd be willing to be the majority of Halo fans love ODST, I could see why trying it myself, but I can also see how you could feel otherwise as it can seem a little too like a generic Halo title.

I found it fun but it felt like Halo 3.5 to me, solid and really well made but probably not the full leap to a new title Reach promises to be.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Sorry you aren't enjoying it, man. I actually like firefight mode a lot. I also think the campaign is better than Halo 3's. But oh well, to each his own.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

I really liked it, but not until after about an hour of playing. I haven't finished it yet, but I love the bleakness. The only complaint I have is some of the cheesy music. It worked for Mass Effect but not so much here.

I don't think M$ and Bungie had any expectation of delivering a major jump like Gears to Gears 2, and in interviews, they said it. Halo Reach is going to be the major jump in graphics and varied gameplay. I'm looking forward to playing it, when I get back home myself, but I find the story of Halo to be really interesting, so I play the game for the story interaction, no pixels and palettes. BTW, with so many deals out there, nobody in their right mind should pay $59 for the game...Toys R Us has a $20 giftcard deal, Amazon has a deal, Best Buy has a deal...dunno about Walmart though.

I don't get how you are calling it repetitive? The walking sections, if you just run from one nav point to the next to do the main missions, takes like 2 minutes to get through. Plus you have the hidden audio clues that tell another part of the story as you find them throughout the city.

Actually this campaign was less repetitive than any other previous Halo because the missions never overlapped the same locations more than once.

I think the campaign is better than the other Halo as well,i just hate the fact it turned cliche at the end of it.

They should of made it better, the end of it at least,i loved walking around finding out what happened to the humans, but i HATE SNIPERS,There are always snipers EVERYWHERE!
