There was a free one in EU,  dont remember which one it was,  there was an Afrika dynamic theme that was free in Japan.  An Uncharted one would be cool.   So would a Ratchet & Clank, Killzone, Resistance and Heavy Rain one

Going from memory, the US had the Little Big Planet one, PAL had Wipeout, and Japan had Afrika.

There may be more, but those are the only ones I remember.

I like the XMB a little more as you can see your background, whereas the NXE takes up over 1/2 the screen, plus there's only the gray floor, and green tabs.
However really sony should be using that bottom right corner more.

To be honest the XMB should be PSP exclusive, while PS3 should have something more... badass yet still somewhat related to the PSP's XMB yet enough innovation to claim its own.

In conclusion, Yes it is abit boring but its still very much a good and detailed enough menu system.

from the Interface point of view.
XMB IS faster and well organized.

from the theme point of view ps3 have support themes for a long time like sony ericsson phones.

i would like i could be able change the axis of the XMB. the some reflections, but a good theme will fix that.
though i still want to be able to make animated themes myself. (they should let us video as wallpaper). and make a theme creator like their phones
and now they added blur to menus, in a GUI u can have transparency without blur. it makes all messy without it, with blur its easy to focus on what isnt.

well the lbp one isn't free though right ?

Anyways I want a killzone and a uncharted one to be longer :p the wipeout one is pretty short.

I like the sparkles, they are pretty and make me happy.
