I don't want to sound like an idiot but, if money is an issue and you don't have an intention of playing online, would pirating be the best option. I know its killing the industry and all etc etc. From a personal view for what you want its probably the best option.

just because you are less fortunate does not mean he is privelaged to posses and get entertainment value from other people's hard work. If you want to consider the less fortunate people, why don't you donate a little money so he can buy something legally. I'm sure he'll set up a paypal account if you really want to donate money to him.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

And you are going to buy 5 games? Thats over $600 if you can afford it then do it. Would be too expensive for me but there you go.

the cheapest ( and best ) way for preventing RRoD is 12 volt fan mod .
its sipmple and easy ! you must got your console fans with 12 volt external (or internal ) power
((you can use google or youtube for more guides ))
with this way u can play hours and hours with no problem and your console stay many years
please be sure u buy jasper one

There is no need in doing something like this with the newer models.  Just make sure you dust the thing regular and you should have no problems.

PS3 games are 130$, 360 games are more like 80$, anyways, I'll get the 5 first with the console directly from the US.
Left4Dead sounds awesome, I'll consider it
And Nordlead, I'm not looking for charity...
Picture this: imagine there's a country where every day stuff costs 5-10 times as much as it does in the US (stuff like food, gas, rent, phone, electricity, etc) but everyone earns 5 times as much as well. Now, imagine you want to import something from said country, you have a problem.
The problem here is that a car, a tv, a computer or a console, costs the same (if you import) or about twice more (if you buy an imported one), so yes.. it is expensive, imagine you had to pay 3000$ for your 360!!
I'm not poor, I just don't have as much money
