Forums - Microsoft - 5th Year anniversary for (Me + XBL)

My fondest memory is a good one week span inbetween jobs where I played Halo 2 nonstop on the service. I wound up getting a massive Legendary symbol tattoo on my back the last day, only because ..well hell I was probably insane.

I've had some epic Halo 3 custom games though, including one that lasted for 5 hours. I think we all had 600 + kills and the CTF game almost ended 30 times. Nothing says "epic" like saving the flag capture by shooting a rocket into their base at the last moment.

day one release in the UK... 4 years soon. But I had live on my Xbox... grrr

Wow. That's interesting. I am gonna Google that and see what the requirements are.

NVM.

Well it doesn't say the number until you have COMPLETED that year. Like now I am on my 6th year, but it won't say 6 until next September when the entire 6th year is over. So if you got it almost 4 years ago it should update to 4 soon. As far as the requirements, you have to have had the same exact account (no making new account or letting it expire) the whole time. Changing the name is fine, but if you created a new account when you got your 360 then it won't connect the two and it won't add your original Xbox time.

They base it on the cumulative time that you have been a gold member, as in each month you are a gold member goes to the total. It is not based on the start date to current date.

Yet mine updated in the middle of the month.... ?  Or you just mean they won't update it to say 4.5 or something random and it only updates after each successive year like I thouht?

Yeah, it is only by the year.

Live membership is a monthly thing.  So for every month you have paid for Live and the month has passed, it goes towards your accumulated total.  Once you hit 12 months, it will update.  This is not tied to the beginning and end of each month.

What Jagged said sounds about right. Over the past 6 years, I wasn't on LIVE for a few months - I was thinking I have been on LIVE for 6 years, actually.

How do you find your tenure......Ive got to be near 5 years now.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Its in the top right corner of your gamercard (official one, not the one's from MyGamerCard.net). You can view this on your 360 by going opening the dashboard (X) button and going to the far right to your Profile. It's in there somewhere.

If you have a month off live (or even a week I forget) they reset your counter.
