I have been talking a lot amongst my friends in school about how I will eventually get an Xbox 360. I've thought about it a lot. The reason I want to buy a Xbox 360 is most of my friends have one and they say the online service is amazing. They have a great library and XBOX LIVE is awesome. The problem is people want me to trade my PS3 for it. I don't want to do that. My mother spent so much money to buy the PS3 for me after I kept asking her for it, If I trade it in, I would be throwing away all her money. It gets even worse. I have 2 siblings in my family. I'm the only one in the house that plays video games. If I try to buy another console, that would make me look selfish. My other friends who have a Xbox 360 and other consoles have an excuse because their siblings also play video games. I don't know what to do. I'm realluy confused.

What should I do?

Well son peer pressure is something everyone has to deal with sometime in life and it seems it is now your time. I say you follow your heart and if tells you to buy a 360 do that, if not keep your PS3.

One more thing what kind of "friends" are pressurizing you ENOUGH to trade in your PS3 for an xbox 360? I mean they have pressurized you enough to make this thread. Be careful with who you befriend.

Definetely buy an xbox 360, but don't feel you have to sell your PS3 for it.....just because your "friends" are saying you should.

don't trade the PS3, you'll probably regret it (I say this about every console, especially if you are thinking about buying it again at a later date)

go get a job mowing lawns or shoveling driveways or some other odd job (depending on where you live) and save up the money. It isn't selfish if you earned the money yourself and bought yourself something. Also, if you only want to earn a little money odd jobs are better than working at McDonalds, so I'd go that route. You can probably make $10-15 per yard if you mow, and if you can get 3-4 yards you'll make enough money to buy a X360 in about 10 weeks. If you still want a X360 then, you'll have the money you need and it only took 4 hours per week. If you worked a minimum wage job you'd have to work a lot more.
