I don't know if anyone has thought of this in the other threads but I'll give my thoughts here.

March 2010 is the release date of GT5 in Japan

March 2010 is the release date of Sony motion control in Japan

There was talk about using head tracking for GT so you can look to your left and right and you would look out your windows of the car witout pressing buttons to do it.

So i guess it would be like you could look at your rear view mirror or side view mirrors easily or you could just look at the car passing you without pressing a button and taking your eyes fully of the road.

That's why i think they are waiting. Not just because it's 65% complete. Some of that remaining percent could be the motion control. I wonder if they will do any other motion with the game.

Problem... You don't need the motion controller for head tracking...

Also releasing it B4 the motion controller would help sales of the PSEye b4 the controller hits. I think consumers would feel a lot better just buying the controller when it comes. Some maybe put off when they realize they have to buy a controller AND the camera or some more costly bundle at the time.

It would be interesting if when the wand launches, SONY stops selling the Eye stand alone and it starts coming with the motion controller. Then I could see a reason to release the game around the time of the motion controller.

I know you don't need the controller for that but maybe the tech isn't ready yet and will be ready by that time. Besides i think it would be odd to use the motion controller with the game but the PSeye would be cool i think.

I think they will bundel the eye and wands and then the wands alone. I have a PSeye so i just need the wands.

I think the hardcore racing gamers though will just get the set up that they always get with these games and may add on the PSeye if they do it.
