I have only really enjoyed (2) console JRPG titles this gen. Tales of Vesperia and Valkyria Chronicles.

I thought that Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon were both enjoyable games.

To be honest I was enjoying Blue Dragon for a while, then in came Marumaro.

I hate him whether it is in English or Japanese...

My favorite turn based JRPGs this gen have been Brave Story and Magical Starsign.

Other than those and LO, turn based console RPGs are pretty pathetic this gen. Handhelds are where it's at. Holding hope for a Baten Kaitos III though.

Yeah Arc Rise Fantasia might be very good and DQX will be huge. Maybe Persona 5 will come soon...hopefully.

Yeah, Maumaro was really annoying. They should use the voice actor that voices him in the anime for the next console Blue Dragon (if there is one). Every other rendition that I've heard has been terrible.
