Blue Dragon is ok, but to easy zz. The last Remnant doesnt hype me much, some i know liked it.

Persona 4 came out in the same period but it's a PS2 RPG. If you have no problems with that play it, it's definitely one of the best RPGs to be released the last few years.

Otherwise, I can't think of many/any jRPGs released on next gen console that are turned based and good.

There are none on consoles in my opinion. Personally I think that all of them are bad to the point where they are incredibly overrated.
