Forums - Microsoft - The Xbox 360 RPG Comparison Charts (and forthcoming graphs).

I figured I'd do this one day.

With ioi fortunately adding the extra #201-400 games, I was able to dig up alot of good Phantasy Star and Enchanted Arms data for comparison.

The charts come in 2 Boxofficemojo.com style (weekly decending order) charts, with Western and Eastern RPGs in separate charts. I will have a few graphs eventually. I have extra room for forthcoming RPGs Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey and Kingdom Under Fire.

Ah crap, it cuts off the western RPGs. I'll re-edit this in a few minutes when I get time from work.

I'll add to this as new figures come in for ES, TW and BD. I have the #s for a few more weeks for each title, but I thought this'd give some context for the sales of the current RPGs, and ideas for future ones.

cool. once you get it sorted it should be great

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

totals at the bottom would be good... percent decrease week over week would be cool, too... Thanks for putting this up...

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

Yes calculate the totals, mrstickball. Then it'd be cool.

Added totals.

Wow, at this rate, Eternal Sonata could end up on top of the other Japanese RPGs.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

Mind you, after looking at the total sales, in terms of weeks charting:

Enchanted Arms, a rather quick dropper (which debuted at a very similar date to Blue Dragon) charted until mid-March of this year, or about 7 months.

One can only wonder what the totals will be if indeed Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon chart for another 6 months.

I have blue dragon . it's a good game
but i'm not from NA

Good analysis mrstickball, but speaking on that subject FFXI and PSU will see an increase due to expansions being released for them in the next couple of months. So sales should shoot back up for each of those games...depending on if you put the expansions in a different category.

In my opinion, Enchanted Arms did good for it to be the first RPG out the gate for the 360. Blue Dragon still has ways to go, I believe a price cut on that game will send sales up in Japan. Considering that's what I think Microsoft is about to do over there in Japan, is make Blue Dragon a Platinum Collection.

All in all 360 is getting a well-above average from the last Xbox, good RPG's and its looking like a bright sunny generation for the 360 in teh future.

Enchanted arms is a very good game ( great )
if anyone didn't get it ..BUY IT NOW !
