if that company is apple...then yes
I'm not martin luther king. I don't have a dream. I have a plan
Sell a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish you just ruined a perfect business opportunity.
We didn't emerge out of the stone age because we ran out of stones. Its time to be proactive not reactive.
I should mention I would probably not buy an Apple gaming system. The only thing I'll buy from Apple is the ipod. I hate their computers and I would probably hate their gaming system.
They'd probably advertise with stupid commercials like: "I'm a Mac, and I'm a playstation/xbox/wii"
Anyone else want to weigh in on the oddball suggestions?
Would you consider a console from
Dell?
Disney?
Verizon?
LG?
Valve?
All 5 mentioned - no.
If sega made it and it was reasonably priced maybe.

I dont think I could ever buy an apple console.
Not after the Pippin (shudder)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Pippin
Sega - DreamCast 2: hell yeah!!!
No questions asked...segaboy at heart, despite currently favouring Sony's PS3.
Apple - Fuck NO!!!!
Hate them with a passion, Microsoft is a saint compared to apple.
Intel/IBM/AMD - Maybe.
They will have to manage CG quality like Disney's UP in real time and package it with some exclusive games I like before I bite.
Activision - No
They don't have hardly any games I like...except COD:MW2...if they improved their portfolio then it would change to a yes.
Electronic Arts - Yes
They have so many games and franchises I like, so it would be a yes.
"Bandai manufactured fewer than 100,000 Pippins (reported sales were 42,000) before discontinuing the system; production was so limited that there were more keyboard and modem accessories produced than actual systems."
lol fail.
OT: i dunno.. i remember when Microsoft released the Xbox and everyone was like "eh?". depends if i was gonna like it, and how much the console was gonna cost. i wouldnt wanna throw away a whole load of money on a piece of rubbish.
People bought a new console when Nintendo hit the market. People bought a new console when Sega hit the market. People bought a new console when Sony hit the market. People bought a new console when Microsoft hit the market. The key is not company loyalty or if the device is pretty. The fact that consoles gain and lose popularity over time show this. The basis of why people choose to buy a gaming console is because they want to play the games on the console.
