I think the pacing of the death note game is a little more deliberate and allows for people to examine the posts a little longer ^_^.

Also, now that I have a little experience on VGC, I'd rather have a game of 7 active posters as opposed to 20 posters with like 8 of them being lurkers and/or AWOL. annoying as hell.

There was no flaw at the end. I was serious when I said the game was over. I didn't give up right then and there simply because 6B was/is still going on so there was no point. The second Final-fan suggested that we double lynch the whole thing was done. Honestly, you guys should have started double lynching days ago and forced the mafia out of hiding. My only hope, and I was pretty certain it was wrong, was that the body snatcher would affect both. Other than that there just wasn't enough unknown to hide in.

I kill Final-fan, and we lynch axum. I kill DGC, and we lynch vetteman. Then we lynch me 2 to 1. Or I kill DGC first night, final fan rallies for a double lynch leaving Final Fan, dsister, you, and me for the final night. I kill any of the three of you, and last two vote me off. Tha game was purely academic from that point.

Yes. You were supposed to be the first night kill. Unfortunatly the town got lucky with its abduct and screwed the plan. After that it was a matter of damage controlling the power roles. With as many of them running around as there were we had absolutely no time for you, which cost us the victory. If you hadn't intervened we would have gone by lynching all the townies one by one and the mafia would have won. Well played on that one.

I never really cared that I wasn't winning. I cared/care that the town has so many power roles vs so few mafia. We made up less than normal amount of people to begin with, and the Alien essentially turned into a second doctor late game. It was a stacked deck. I'd be saying the same thing if I were a townie, but I would have started the double lynchings after night 3 which the numbers were so decidedly in the towns favor for known/unknown.

also I don't think I'll run Death Note Games consecutively right after the previous ones.

I'll probably give it a rest for about a week or so and then start it up again; otherwise people will get burned out and it won't be as "special"

It seems wrong to me that double lynches would happen with an odd-sized population, which is probably why I didn't suggest it the previous day...

i really do like how the "dark" nature of my game forces everyone to be much MUCH more deliberate and careful before posting. It makes each and every post much more meaningful and suspenseful at the same time.
