So, just because you don't like them, nobody should like them?

I would like some customization in my games. I would love to play SC2 with a pink army that I paid for. I would love to make all my gear match in a game like diablo, and I would love to have additional voicing in different languages.

In this way, once closed avenues can open up to market demand. Think about it, you can't play Starcraft in Japanese. Why not? Should it be in the official release? No. But I should have an official option to do so.

I have already started to vote with my wallet. I don't even buy WiiWare games with pay downloadable content. I have not and will not pay for any downloadable content in Tiger Woods 10. I don't think I own any other games with even an option for downloadable content.

I can only hope others feel the same.

Nope, not for me. I buy my games but I do not support ripoffs.

 

Edit : About the microtransactions. Ihmo, it's the cancer of MMOs. You can't play a game knowing that other people put more money to get special items and so on, it's like paying an easy mode. I'm ok if this virtual money is earned through in game mechanics, but not by IRL money. I've played MMO in the past, and you don't know how frustrating it is when such cheats are revealed. So microtransactions = no thanks.
