What's the DRM on Direct2Drive like?

I might grab Neverwinter Nights 2. That's supposed to be good, yeah?

No don't! It's a trap! Get the original game, the second wasnt even made by BioWare and it just feels worse overall than NWN1.

Alos if you are wondering how they play. NWN is basically KotoR except a lot more indepth and just overall better (9 classes instead of 3, hundreds of spells, hudreds of feats, enemies, better control, etc.), just set in D&D land ot Star Wars land. I blame the exbox for simplifying KotoR so much, it could have been soooo much better than it was.

why not, you control a character who actually "plays" another one, and this one progressively regains his powers by advancing the story :o there are even minigames like pickpocket and eavesdropping

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

  As I told countless times:

people don't want to play RPG (Fallout 2, Arcanum, Planescape) they want to think they are playing rpg (Bioshock, Stalker) .

Shut up, whether you like NWN2 or not, the Mask of the Betrayer expansion more than makes up the worth (best videogame story since Planescape Torment)

Look, remind me of who did the writing for NWN2

Go ahead

And I really don't care about the gameplay. Character customization blah blah blah, fine and dandy but not why I play these. I leap into these games for one reason, and I indicated it above.

Now is anybody going to tell me about the DRM on D2D?

I believe the DRM on D2D is up to the developers/publishers themselves. They each protect their games to their liking. Also D2D may put some sort of authentication:

How many licenses or activations do I get?

"All licensing has a limit to the number of simultaneous activation to protect the product. However our customer service will see to it that should you encounter a need for more licenses that you are accommodated."

I felt cheated ut of my money by NWN2 so excuse me if I stayed far far far away from anything that has to do with the game.
