Forums - General - Obama Deception and New World Order

I really enjoy the various opinions and factual evidence this wonderful group of individuals are continuously able to provide. I just finished watching a very interesting video that I will continue to dissect regarding not only Obama, but US and world history in general.

Please take a couple hours out of your day and watch this video, if you havn't already, and let's discuss is qualitative and quantitative arguements in a fashion I am used to seeing on this forum.

Thank you.

Watched it months ago. Some I like, other stuff I don't. Alex Jones thinks every foreign policy meeting is with overlord aliens or something lol.

Is this a real thing... or is this going to be like the 5th thing in a row that someone thought was real but was in fact a poorly done hoax?

Edit: Oh crazy internet documentry.... meh.

At (about) 15 minutes in, I think I'm done with the video ...

While there is evidence to support claims that most leaders most political parties in all countries are "controlled" (heavily influenced is probably a better word) by special interest groups, I don't believe there is a centralized conspiracy against the public because you would probably see better government if there was. One of the core problems with (pretty much) every leader around the world is that they’re rudderless, and are jumping from issue to issue (seemingly) at random and making changes which may counteract decisions they have made recently; as an example, the government could introduce legislation to give incentives to manufacturers to build factories in a country, then follow it up with legislation strengthening unions, and then legislation which taxes energy use.

The going around in circles is the problem, because we waste a lot of resources going nowhere ...

yeah, I have my reservations about quite a bit of the video, however, the items regarding the "Federal Reserve" and the fact that Obama has, as really any president, already shown major signs of completely discarding a great number of his campaign promises.

Well, if anyone else has seen/will watch and knows of some info pro/con the arguments please let me know.

thx.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

superchunk, admit it.. deep inside you, you hope that what they're saying is true.

Why is everyone so opposed to a North American Union? I can see leaving Mexico out for now since they are a third world country with a lot of internal problems, but we have a lot to gain with cooperation with Canada.

Yes, true power is not with the people but with the powerful eilite, but tell us something we dont know.

I saw it. Got about an hour into it before I stopped.

The premise is everyone is the puppet to the powerful. The problem is, the biggest losers at the moment, with the world economy, are the powerful.

I doubt this would have been done on purpose by anyone. Very few have gained from it.

Not really ... There are reasons why large and powerful corporations don't resist the movement towards "Big Government"

Social programs like government funded healthcare, daycare and pension programs tend to off-load the cost of services like these that large corporations and unions already provide onto their employees/union-members and smaller businesses (who don't typically pay for these benefits) in the form of higher taxes; and any increase in taxes that the large corporation faces is easily recovered through the reduction in the benefits they pay to their employees.

On top of this, the government tends to bailout large corporations that are filled with their "Friends" while letting small companies and individuals fail.

While I don't think they specifically planned an economic crisis, I don't think you can say any of the rich and powerful are the biggest losers in this climate being that their interests are protected at your expense.
