Forums - Sony - NEW GT5 DAMAGE Gameplay....Paris Game Festival!

huh? Collision bug? huh?

If that is another way of saying mechanical damage then yes I agree. Very happy that has been implemented and can only hope mechanical damage will be present in all cars.

Edit - Those of you saying the damage looks better compared to Gamecom sure do look silly right now for this is the game build from Gamescom.

omg cant wait for this game to come out

Besides when the cars went through each other, it looks and sounds like the damage has been improved. People will find something to get angry over, though. They always do. :D

meh, I will turn damage off or make it just visual

Seems like the game is faster than the demo from gamescom....

that was pretty impressive....and the game looks beautiful
if I had a ps3 this would be on the top of my list, both this and forza will be great games we just need a soild release date for this...

@kowenicki
it was the actual gameplay and not a replay. They were switching the camera modes. How is it impossible to drive while the camera is flying around? Does the controller switch off or something?
Obviously the gamer who was playing at the time wasn't interested in finishing the course the best way but just to create a damage demo.

It is better to die on one's feet

then live on one's knees

The damage looks a little tame in comparison to the horrific crash the guy was getting into, especially towards the end, its still VERY VERY pretty though and fans will probably gobble it up.

I'm still unhappy that not all cars will have damage model though, lets see more information from PD with regards to how many cars won't have damage model before I start ranting.

So... no scratches, dents, damage to the glass? Just parts falling apart?
