In less than two weeks uncharted 2 will be released. Afterwards, it will be full holiday period. In the first half of 2010, Sony has a lot of titles coming out. It is highly unlikely, probably impossible for the ps3 to keep over 200k for the rest of the gen but it has good chances of being for at least the next few months.

a very bold prediction, i hope ure right, though i belive it wont fall under 200k for rest of 2009. But will fall below 200k in 2010 im afraid.

I predict that the Slim won't go under 200 K this year, but I don't think it can stay over atleast 200k per week for the whole gen.

Well, PS3 is above all the predicted levels this week! 

It's in danger of dropping below the predictions in the US and Japan if they see decreases.  The release of Uncharted 2 may keep it above next week, though in Japan that's less likely.

It's not close to dropping under 200k WW though, and it won't for the rest of 09, at least.

It wont until late 2010. Also why are people saying that it will in 4-5 weeks. That means PS3 sales would be lower during christmas common people think.

actually it dropped below 120k 5 times in 08 last i checked.

edit: i dunno if its been adjusted since then or not but it shows 6 times now.  I remember a thread about this prediction and it being 5 times back in late 08.
