A) doesn't matter doing a comparison between the games on both systems, the 360 one is more than a year old;

^agreed, sigma is like a new game anyway with much more updates

B) people that wanted to play it already did on 360 (i know i did)

^i did also, and traded it in after 2nd stage. had game breaking flaws

^admit it, you jsut got killed 10 times in a row by those shuriken dogs and you got angry and traded it. There is nothing game breaking about NG2 on 360.

C) PS3 version has obviously better graphics (more than 1 year later, if it didn't Tecmo would have been lazy), but 360 has blood and gore, and that's what you want in NG. NG without that is like Tecmo games with boobs aka fail.

WRONG, sigma 2 isnt a fail, it has updated grafix, better sound judging from demo, more bosses, more story, more playable chars and online co-op mission modes. tecmo said this is the difinitive version.

ps. it does have blood but not as much as 360 version.

Well as i said before the game is first day buy for me. One thing i miss from the 360 version is that it isn´t as gore and brutal on Sigma 2 i really wanted that.

I love the original sigma but held back on getting 2 for the 360 due to multiple site confirming that the camera was a pain in the ass, has this been fixed in the PS3 version? If not then I won't bother with this version either...

lol, camera is way better in NG2 than sigma. You actually have camera control in NG2.

Im sure Sigma 2 will improve camera on Part 2.

Is it? To note, I thought signma was great but the camera had issues with ninja attacks (oh the delicious pun) from offscreen it was tolerable but did detract slightly. With regards to NII, I was under the impression that despite the moveable camera, the situation with offscreen attack and akward angles were even worse? Anyways I might give NII a try if the camera is better than Sigma as I can tolerate that. The blood is attractive.

Camera works fine in part 2.

NG is all about knowing enemy timing and reacting qickly to the attack they throw at you. the trigger button targets an enemy, therefore while the camera may go loopy sometimes, you are still targeting the enemy that you want to target...as long as you know the timing of his attacks, you are fine even if the camera is staring at your right shoe :)

I'd try this over part 2 on the xbox360 though. Sigma 2 looks to be an improved version of part 2... It does cost 40 bucks more tho.

But but... but the BLOOD... oh man there was so many 'kill bill' awesome moment in II thanks to those blood.

Blood versus Boob Jiggle

aaargh I must have them both!

^ Yeah the parts where Ryu cleans his sword or stick thing and splaters blood all over the ground....thats definition of awesome.

He still does it in sigma 2 the blood flies off, but the gore is gone :/. I'm gonna miss the gore. Playing as Ayane will fill the gap somewhat. <3 Ayane :D.

You can control the camera in Sigma 2.

Also yeah he still cleans of the blood of the sword. But i never really played the others that much so i don't know about how much blood and gore has been removed. But it didn't seem bad when i played it so i don't think it's a big deal but that's just me.

Well...1 year is kinda long time.
Anyway, if this one is good as Sigma on PS3 it is must buy...But if it is same as NG2 on Xbox 360 you should avoid it..

Take my love, take my land..

Might look better a year later, but it has crappy blood splatter; which I found to be a strong highlight of the game... leaving pools of blood all over the walls etc.. not that stupid ghost mist crap.

It definitely looks a good bit better.

That hasn't always been the case this gen though, Lost Planet apparently looked noticeably worse and that shipped over a year later than the 360 version too.

Although it's worth noting that that was considered a port, while this game is considered a remake.

Hmm so as a PS360 owner the question is… Do I pay $15 on Ebay for a used copy for the 360 version or do I pay $60 at the store for Sigma 2? That is the $45 question…
