though, personally im not a fan, I dont actively dislike them, I just wouldnt choose to listen to them is all.
Oasis, The Beatles, Queen, The Rolling Stones, now those, those are my kind of bands.

Same could be said about Hip Hop/Rap. How can you say that their is no complexity in the Rhymes of Jay-Z? How could you say that it lacks depth, perception, similes, metaphors. Have you heard about Kanye West's 808's and Heartbreaks? Theres no melody in Rap at all? WTF are you listening too? You could argue that the way that each Rapper Flows is hell of a lot harder then singing. Listen to how Jay-Z is able to adjust his flow and his tempo to make smooth beautiful music with Linkin Park on collision course. To say something like Jonas Brothers is better than someone like Jay-Z shows ignorance and possibly bigotry on your side of things and perspective. Open your mind and listen to and take in what some of these artist have to say. Yeah it has it's down point just like every genre of music but don't go writing it off as nothing but talking over a tune and no talent with no complexity whatsoever thats just stupid.

That line was more directed to your statement that Hip Hop/Rap isnt music. I was just using that as an example as you claimed that the worst in your genre of music is better than mine for the simple fact you consider Rap and everyone in it talentless and not a genre of music

no, I heard there new single, cant say I cared much for it
there is no way i would ever compare them to Queen, there lead singer hasnt got a patch (even a small one) on Freddie Mercury
to be honest, all of the bands i "like" formed pre-1998, not much reccently has caught my ear (other than some of the new stuff by bands i like anyway, like Oasis and R.E.M)

Nothing ignorant about it, I can see how other people do. and It IS listed as music, however its my view that it isn't music, it is what it ... is.
