If you have any trouble with any story, you should try to level up a bit in the Quick Battle with the character you're going to play next. That way you'll have a higher level and some experience yourself with the character when you get to the story properly ;)

Yeah, you can even level up your characters to 100 in Quick Battle and then take them to their respective story ;) Actually you'll be needing to level up your characters on Quick Battle before you go to the harder stories like Shade Impulse, Distant Heroes or even Inward Chaos

@Deathcape

You have unlocked Inward Chaos already? You need to defeat all the characters Destiny Boards, plus the Shade Impulse and Distant Heroes Destiny Boards to unlock Inward Chaos. Plus you'll need a lvl 100 character to actually pull it, since all the battles are LVL 100 and onwards.

SORRY I meant shade impulse...ugh...gay names

yeah, I'm busy raping shade impulse...going SOOO slowly because the boardgame-type of play is annoying me now >_

It's true, the higher the levels, the more punishment you get from your mistakes, but usually at higher leves, you as a player gets more and more skilled ;) Plus after a certain level, what really makes the difference is the equipment, you'll see once you star amasing enough money to get the best equipments.

Yeah, there are a lot of names, at first I was confused too xD The Story mode gets huge with all the boards unlocked. Shade impulse is the biggest story board of them all, it's got 5 whole chapters with 5 boards each xD it's massive.
