since xbox 360 fans said it was poor when it launched early this year I lost all hype for the game

Well...it does do about everything.

I HAVE A FEELING THAT STAR OCEAN 4 WILL HAVE BIG CHANGES LIKE NEW PLACES,WEAPONS,NO TECHNICAL PROBS AND FROM WHAT IS ALREADY CONFIRMED JAPANESE,SPANISH,GERMAN,ITALIAN,FRENCH WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL OF US WORLDWIDE
SO STAR OCEAN 4 IS REALLY INTERNATIONAL (sorry i typed 2009 my mistake)

Well people were mostly talking bad about voice acting.
From what I've heard, Star Ocean 4 has:
-Amazing/Great combat
-Teeeeeerrible voice acting
-Ok story and characters
-Ok graphics
-Freezes (for some)

^ star ocean always had a crappy story and chactacters
and HORRIBLE english voice acting.

but internation have japanese dubs!!!!!!!!!! =D

The improved PS3 version will include a lot of new features as they always do on PS3 (bioshock, ninja gaiden 2, tales of vesperia...), so it should be a very different game now.

The beta test on 360 should help the game to be much better on PS3 too.

The Last Hope was Great!

It had issues sure... but its not a Blue Dragon atleast! granted... LO is better and it isn't the best SO game to date... but it was worth it.

good news for RPG fans

God I hated SO4;

Constant backtracking with multiple discs makes me sad. :(

Not to mention I got stuck in a dungeon for a good two hours.

At least there won't be multiple disks on PS3 since the PS3 has a bluray drive.
