I have a 60gb ps3. When playing Rockband 1 with my Hdmi settings to full hd, the backgrounds smooth but the notes coming down go smooth then glitch then smooth then glitch. But when i changed the res to the lower res 576i it was fine and smooth. However with Gh5 i was playing it at my friends house and it was fine. But as soon as i got home i tried to play, it does the same thing as rockband but no matter what res i have it on its smooth glitchy smooth glitchy.

What could it be that makes it go like this. another fact World Tour and Greatest hits works fine.

Did you check for kinks in the hdmi cable?

nah but im pretty sure is aight wouldnt that make the whole screen laggy?

Mine actually does this too....the only thing i can think of is that i have a a 500 Gig hard drive....maybe it reads slightly slower?

thats really wierd perhaps your tvs response time is slow. try a different TV

try turning off all the picture enhancing things of your TV (100/120Hz mode, color enhancers etc.)

yes, try this. or try "game mode" if your tv has such presets
