Well, 4>10.  If he's that big a fan he probably plays every day.  At the very best, that's 30 day's he doesn't get to play.  More than likely, a few of those times were in the old days when it did take  a few weeks to get back.  IT BROKE 10 TIMES!  He's got a legitimate right to be fucking pissed!  And so what if it's free.  It takes time to pack that stuff up.  Time = money.  Nothing's free.  Also, call me crazy here, but when I spend hundreds of dollars on something, I like it to work, I don't give a rat's ass how cheap it is to fix.

A freind of mine who i used to work with is on his 2nd 360, so i know full well that it happens and i would never deny it.

Here on VG Chartz you don't get a bucket load of threads regarding peoples 360's bricking on them, now, there's a big following here of people who prefer ps3 or wii, but again you still dont get too many RROD threads.

It's sites like N4G that piss me off, cos we all know that theres hardly any 360 fans who post comments on that site yet over the last 6 months alone i have seen thousands of posts from people who claim their 360's bricked on them.

And THAT is why quite a lot of 360 RROD claims have to be taken with a pinch of salt.

OP, thanks for posting this. I LOL'd so hard at his accent, I just couldn't help it. Anyways, 10 times, sheesh, that's alot. It'd be even worse if he only had a 360 out of the current gen consoles. Hopefully my future 360 doesn't crap out on me...

Wow...that's alot of games! On point however, I feel bad for him, especially since Microsoft can't replace his game :(

He has so many games for Xbox 360, no wonder he's not able to move on...sucks.

free is pretty cheap when it comes to repair costs

also the 360 can crack your disk if it has a misaligned DVD drive and actually had my second replacement crack a disc on me luckily for me it was only a $20 game

I do have a theory on why system red ringed on him 10 times from his accent I will assume he lives pretty far south Florida possibly it's very hot and humid also you don't know the state of his bedroom ventilation good ventilation can improve the lifecycle of any 360

You don't have to worry about current model 360's dood, there real good, i think this guy... just got unlucky, he said he had a jasper i think but im not sure, even still most of them are more then well suited for day-to-day gaming. So when ya get your 360 don't worry about it chances are it'll be fine.

I've had mine replaced 5 times and have got the receipts to prove it. The reason why others and I trade in our 360's is because it's free, simple as that. The first four times it happened to me I took them back to the store and got new ones, this was about 3 or 4 months after the launch of the 360 and no one over the internet would believe me about the 360's problems. But then sure enough, it gets big and boy do I love the fact that MS got struck with this lol. Yet still people don't believe me? Oh and the part about replacements being free? My last one that broke down (the day before Gears 2, my most hyped game) had an E74 error (no warranty at the time for that) and I phone up MS. They tell me that I am going to have to pay CAN $110 to get it repaired...I pay it. Takes a MONTH to get it back and it's dented at the bottom and now about half the time it tells me that my games have to be in an Xbox console...I thought I was on an xbox console. This actually happens, it actually f*$^ing happens lol.

You know it goes both ways; why do you believe this guy when there is no proof that he sent it in 10 times? He claims that it is 10 times, but no proof is provided other than him saying so; you realize this does not make it fact right?  Is it possible, yea sure; but does it mean that it's true, no.  I'm sure you can find people that can make the same claim with other systems as well.

I've seen people crack their disc because of how they remove the disc from the case; this is especially true for some of the metal cases.
