Demon's Souls has a pre-order bonus (artbook and soundtrack IIRC). I don't normally pre-order, but in this case I had to make an exception and I'm probably not alone.

I hope so, as it is truly a killer of a game and it deserves it. A must have for any JRPG fan!

About 20 more days until release... this sucks.

I could care less what its review is. It's making me second guess if I should get uncharted 2 at launch simple because I know I won't be playing it. I've been waiting for this title for such a long time, It could get a 10 on metacritic and I still would buy. The youtube videos and reviews from gamers who imported have done it for me.

It probably won't get 90%+ on metacritic and from a budget/marketing point of view it doesn't qualify for "AAA" rating either (more like "D"), but it sure is a fucking good game .. I've started it last week and it really is filled to the brim with atmosphere. It feels to me like a lovechild of Diablo 1 and Resident Evil.

why did you get import it last week?

moi? In a german forum someone offered me the asian copy for a budget price (30€) and I wasted no time and jumped at the opportunity ;). Saved me a lot of hassle importing it and ofcourse the import US version probably would've cost me 3x as much (for a game I wasn't really sure I'd enjoy playing ).

oh that makes sense. I didn't know you were in Europe. Hopefully they patch it so everyone can play together. Also I hear there is a land of the giants that might be patched into the game. Do you know anything about this?
