i don't have xbox 360 so i can't tell you anything about 360 but i can tell you i'm happy with my purchase

XBox 360 if you want a much bigger games library which is double the size of the PS3 games library. XBox 360 games have achievements in all games and add up together to give you one Gamer score.

PS3 has a good smaller games library and is growing all the time. The PS3 only has trophies in about half of its games - most of the games released before 2008 do not have any trophies in them. The trophy system gives out different coloured trophies for different achievements in the games but has not be executed as well as the Gamer score on XBox 360. Trophy system was set up a long time after the successful Gamer score on the XBox 360.

Online who really cares? I own both an XBox 360 and a PS3. I do not play either of them online. XBox Live is $50 per year in subscription fees and has more content/features than PSN. PSN is free and you get a good free online service.

Why not Wii?...better yet...why not upgrade your PC?

i would say ps3 because
- it seems to me you like the exlusives more like for examples
god of war 3, ratchet and clank, killzone 2, little big planet, gran turismo 5, infamous, and metal gear solid 4.
-you didnt mention = massive action game, uncharted 1 and 2, heavy rain and others :(
- ps3 is going to be getting cross game chatting soon.
- arcade cost more because your going to need to buy a hard drive, and online, and most likely wireless because its more convient. so 200 + 100 + 100 + 50 = 450
so your spending alot more than the ps3.
- sooner or later more people are going to be getting ps3. especially this christmas because of the ps3 slim.
