OK, so they deal out playing cards that tell you what you are and you don't show it to anyone ever.
1. Day -- people talk, accuse, lynch, etc. (The games I play, the lynch victim is revealed at the end of the day.)
2. Night:
--everyone goes to sleep (eyes closed, etc.) (honor system)
--mafia wake up, silently vote to kill by pointing -- they keep going until they can agree on a target, then go back to sleep
--cop wakes up, points at someone to investigate and the GM (mod) silently indicates the result
--other special characters
3. Wake up, see who died in the night -- if it is still possible for the town to win then the next day begins.
