Well I enjoyed Red Steel about as much as Perfect Dark Zero... of course I would give PDZ a 6 so that's not saying much. Launch games being blowful is nothing new.

It actually sounds better (control-wise). You can change the bounding box (or whatever it's called) size, the sensitivity, etc.. IGN says you can pull off a 180 degree turn faster than any console FPS to date. I just hope the campaign is longer than five hours :( |
And the mulitplayer! 32 player online! Should be great fun. You could change the 'bounding box' size on vanguard however it didn't help much - i think Heroes 2 controls are just tighter overall. I've been playing Airborne on PC and that's actually really good. Medal of Honour lost its reputation for a long time with terrible releases (like all EA games) but with Airborne and Heroes 2, they seem to be making a great comeback =D ... at least for this franchise maybe.

Well, his pet project is also a bit redundant considering such info is easily available at sites like Gamerankings/Metacritic.
And does Nintendo Power not have their own website where review scores are freely available?
We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai
It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps
We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
I really liked Red Steel even though I rarely buy/play FPS games; can't wait for Metroid Prime 3. I'd give it an 8.
*I just bought Zelda Phantom Hourglass can't wait to leave work and play it!*
