Forums - Sony - Lost Planet 2 Co-Op Demo Coming to PSN September 24 - 2 addition missions

Hello PlayStation Blog! Capcom is offering PlayStation 3 owners a chance to experience a piece of the Tokyo Game Show action from the comfort of their own living rooms this year by offering the Lost Planet 2 demo available exclusively for download from PSN starting the first day of the show. Beginning September 24, PS3 owners will not only be able to engage in the frantic battle against the enormous G-Type Akrid, the boss Akrid of the episode 1, but will also get the exclusive experience of two additional missions in an online co-operative extermination of the Akrid of E.D.N. III.

Nice that PS3 only owners will get a go at the demo. The first one was nothing but terrible though.

PSN Gets Bigger, Badder Lost Planet 2 Co-Op Demo

PlayStation 3 owners finally get a shot at the Lost Planet 2 co-op demo next week, with two exclusive missions helping make up for the wait.

Xbox 360 owners have been taking down the giant Akrid boss in the Lost Planet 2 co-op demo since August 26th, but their gloating will soon come to an end, as next week sees the release of a bigger, badder version of the demo on the PlayStation Network. Coinciding with the first day of the Tokyo Game Show, the PS3 version scores two exclusive missions worth of co-op hunting of the Akrid of E.D.N. III. Both the new demo and a new trailer hit PSN on October 24th.

It's times like these that make me glad I own multiple consoles.

"I don't trust #XboxOne & #Kinect 2.0, it's always connected" as you tweet from your smartphone - irony 0_o

So not only is Sony demading enhanced late ports but they are demanding enhanced late demos? Thats cool I guess, already played the demo on 360, will have to give this a try on the PS3. Even though I am buying it for the PS3 anyway

Funny, I thought the PS3 version was still officially in limbo - guess I missed something, as I assume the fact there is a PSN demo means this will also be releasing for PS3.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Yeah, I believe they officially confirmed the PS3 version at E3, or maybe it was at GDC

At E3, Jack Tretton specifically pointed that game out as one of the great games that are coming from 3rd parties.
