This was a fantastic game, and a license that needed to be revisited at the very least once. The concept has a lot of promise, and the gameplay in the original was wonderful. A shame so few on these forums seem to appreciate that. Then again such logic would have seen a series like Metal Gear get locked away from the light of day too. This was fantastic news this game could really be innovative, and launch a new fresh franchise. Swinging and playing with guns just imagine the possibilities.
I am actually quite sick of hearing about street fighter. I get it a 2D fighter that some people love a lot. However how many of these games do you actually need, or how long till the formula gets too stale. How many 2D fighters have actually been made up to this point, and why would you pay sixty dollars for one.
Sorry had to make the salient point. You shouldn't rag on Bionic Commando unless you think Street Fighter should get an equal ragging. The game was very good for its time, and could be a very interesting game. Even for its time it felt oddly original.
