ergh the world looked a bit like fallout 3's

this put me off

fallout 3 was amazing, but it depressed me

being able to depress me while playing it is the games biggest achievement, it proves the setting, environments & atmosphere were perfected by betheasda

but still I'm buying Dragon Age Origins instead!

I think the game looks really fun.  I don't like how its cell-shaded, but I can live with that.

Its holiday season startup and there are tons of great games coming...

It is hard to look at something that releases Oct.20, when next week is Halo ODST, the week after is Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, the week after that is Risen / Demon's Souls, the week after that is Brutal Legend / Magna Carta 2 / Uncharted 2... Then, Borderlands releases...

It looks great, but i'm not sure its a day one purchase for me.

Like I have said before. Not many games that are not exclusives are hyped thought there are several exceptions to that rule

I'm pretty interested in it.

Well, its a FPS. I'm not really fond of playing them with dual analog. Unless it has beyond amazing co-op, I'm not getting it.

Borderlands looks really good but there's one problem.

My game budget is already full for October and November. Uncharted 2, Demons Souls, Brutal Legend and R&C:ACIT are all the purchases I can handle. And quite frankly, that's all the game I need for a long time.

I'll probably get it in December though.

This is in 3rd place on my most wanted.

2. Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
3. Borderlands
4. Demon's Souls
5. Valkyria Chronicles

Demon's Souls is lower because i need to import it (zzz), and VC is because i dont have the money right now to spend on a strategy game. Need that high octane action right now! Just so that i dont get attacked by all the DS and VC fans on this site :D

But Borderlands seems like a riot! I love how they've made it a Shooter RPG. And i like that cell shaded style. And being able to quest and level up in an "FPS", with 4 player co-op just, sounds Rodonkoulus!

That's actually how i'm looking at this game.  Fallout 3 +.
