Fable 2 and RE5 were great.

OFCOURSE its a good game, but after RE4 was so amazing, people expect another "amazing" game

but RE5 gave them "good", on that level.....yeah its disappointing

if GTA5 got a metacritic below 90 it would be seen as disappointing too

The issue is I have played both and they seemed quite similar, people get disapointed very easily this Gen because they expect so much. The game might not be " amazing" but  it's far from the most disapointing game this Gen.

Bionic Commando was not really hyped...
Resident Evil 5 totally lived to my hype.
Never played Heavenly Sword but I don't think it deserves to be there.
GTA4 and Lair should be on the list.
I agree with Haze and Too Human.
Fable is good enough.

For me, the problem with RE5 was the fact that they changed the inventory system! I LOVED RE4 inventory system. :( I missed it so much. But in no way was RE5 a bad game. Pretty good one actually, coop story mode is awesome.

Also, where the HELL is Lair on this list?????

lol. RE4 and RE5 are not similar at all. 

One has great AI other has really dumb AI. One has 15 + hour gamplay other has 8+ hours gamplay. One has completely fresh and new way to play a 3rd person shooter and another uses that exact same template 5 years later and does no gamplay improvemets, only visuals. One is one of the ebst single player experiences of the generation if not ever the other is almost unplayable in single player.

And finally one has coop and the other doesn't

Is the coop worth all those shortcomings? Hell no!

I would have to agree with every single one there. Especially Fable II, it's the worst RPG ever made!

I agree that RE4 is better, it was never an issue, the game won GOY in many places, but it's hard to bring that same feeling and new in the next game, thus  it would never live up to the hype, but RE5 is still pretty good, and quite fun. It sold well and rated good, I just argue it being the most disapointed game this Gen.

Why the hell is Fable 2 on there? Fable 1 i could understand but Fable 2 naw.

I don't agree with the list. Heavenly Sword? Really? That game sold well AND it was awesome. I'd put Lair before that. Wheres Halo Wars? It has the name Halo, enough said.
